I need help with the following since the new rule began the other day:
Where do you find the autoallow script and how do you use the /dccallow +nickname command. Is it used before you request a file? Is it sent to the console or to #ebooks window? Or is it used like this: !Xon Jenni James - [Faerie Tale Collection 02] - Sleeping Beauty (epub).rar/dccallow +afaiktoit ?
You may allow DCCs of filetypes which are otherwise blocked by the IRC server by specifying a DCC allow for the user you want to recieve files from.
Note: If the you or the server leave the channel, your allow list is deleted from the IRC server
( There is a script available in channel ( search for AutoAllow.rar ) - install it per the instructions and you will no longer have to type the allow -- the script will do it for you. )
There are 4 commands available
Allow
/dccallow +nickname
ie.. /dccallow +afaiktoit
This will allow the list-serve afaiktoit to send you all file types.

I believe this issue has been resolved. as of 5:30ish pm CST certain file types are now not blocked. If you continue to have issues please report either here or on irc in channel #help prepare to have the file type ready (file type is what appears after file name example: .rar) the server you are connected to and the nick of the person sending you the file. This will enable us to track down the issue easier.
