SSL certificate invalid was created by Sodalis
Just tried to connect (as usual) to IRChighway using SSL and mIRC said:
* Unable to connect to server (SSL certificate verify failed)
I was connected using exactly the same settings a day or so ago - so it looks like a certificate issue.

You're right about that. We currently use self-signed certificates.

Possible to use a Let's Encrypt SSL cert? This way we won't get the self-signed errors?

It is possible, yes, but not at this time, we don't really have the back-end infrastructure to handle the renewal/distribution of new certs. Its on the todo list, but not really high priority.
There he drew forth the brand Excalibur
And o'er him, drawing it, the winter moon,
Brightening the skirts of a long cloud, ran forth
And sparkled keen with frost against the hilt:
For all the haft twinkled with diamond sparks,
Myriads of topaz-lights, and jacinth-work
Of subtlest jewellery
